Georgie Meadows: Stitched Drawings

Saturday 24 September to Sunday 27 November The Front Room, The Beaney House of Art & Knowledge Free Admission, drop in The uniquely affecting and compassionate work of artist and occupational therapist Georgie Meadows encourages us to rethink the way we regard our older population. Using a domestic sewing machine, she translates delicate line drawings into tender and tactile stitched portraits of people she knows or has worked with. A Wellcome Collection partnership.
