Description: Bronze. The sitter is facing the front with his head turned slightly to the left. His hair is parted in the cente and flows in wavy locks to the nape of the neck. He wears a cuirass and cravat. The bust is mounted on a gilt metal base which is supported on a column of Swedish porphyry, only found at Elfdalen. The base of the column is set in a gilt metal mount and stands on a shallow square porphyry base.
