Description: Cream-coloured earthenware (Queen's ware), printed in black and banded in blue, green and pink in onglaze enamels. Truncated conical form with loop handle. Decorated with an inscription, 'Halfpence & Farthings/Say the bells of St Martins. The 'H' in the form of two trees with a girl and boy respecitvely on a branch of each, the '&' in the form of a bell rope, and theb'F' in the form of a church. There is a green band round the rim, and a blue band round the second part of the inscription at the bottom.
