Description: Pale yellowish-cream earthenware, tin-glazed white on exterior and underside; a few small areas of body show under the larger drip pan where the glaze has crawled.
Circular with domed and gadrooned foot above which is a drip pan with a lightly gadrooned edge. The stem is short with a gadrooned knop and, above it, a narrow greasepan surrounding the nozzle. Pale yellowish-cream fabric, moulded and tin-glazed overall. The glaze has crawled on several small areas under the larger drip pan. Painted in bright blue.
On the foot, there is a shield charged with a fleur-de-lis, surmounted by a close-helmet and flanked by scrolling foliage. The underside is marked in blue with a cock over a `C'.
