Description: Vase. Earthenware, covered in a cream slip, and decorated in iron-brown and cream crackle glaze. The ovoid body has sloping shoulders, a narrow neck and widely flaring mouth. The body tapers to the flat, unglazed foot and a flat, recessed base with cream crackle glaze around the inner foot and a splash in the centre of the base. The body is covered in a cream slip and decorated with a central border in iron-brown of three cross-hatch panels and three circles containing scrolls. The border is between iron-brown lines and a single blue line with a double blue line border above and below, under a greyish glaze. The lower half of the body has a mottled cream/grey tint and pitting.
