The Day of the Nominees 2025 – the Young Playwright Award

In the programme of the 55th Week of Slovenian Drama festival

This year’s festival will again pay special attention to developing and promoting the creativity of young authors. At the Day of the Nominees – the Young Playwright Award, we will have a chance to gain in-depth knowledge of this year’s nominated texts and their authors.

This year’s Young Playwright Award nominees are:

Directed by Maša Pelko, we will present a staged readings of the nominated texts, introduced by dramaturgical reflections by the students of dramaturgy at the AGRFT.

Discussion with the nominees will be moderated by dramaturge and curator Ana Perne and student of dramaturgy Nejka Jevšek.

The Day of the Nominees is an event organised in cooperation with the Academy of Theatre, Radio, Film and Television, the Slovenian Theatre Institute and the Prešeren Theatre Kranj.
