First public of the exhibition Dušan Jovanović – a cultural terrorist

The survey exhibition of the Slovenian Theatre Institute and Cankarjev dom on the life and work of Dušan Jovanović, one of the most important Yugoslav directors and playwrights of the second half of the 20th century, reveals the rich multifaceted nature of his creative oeuvre and connects it to key chapters in his life. At the same time, the exhibition answers the question of why Josip Vidmar placed him among the "cultural terrorists" and seeks to capture Jovanović's spirit, marked by innovation, provocation and passion.

One of the authors, Dr Gašper Troha, Director of the Slovenian Theatre Institute, will guide you through the exhibition.
