This strangle object dates to the Middle Palaeolithic. Such items are found in the area around Thebes.

Large crescent shaped flint piece. Flaked all over to produce one concave edge 100 mm across. Some cortex visible. A hollow scraper found in the Thebes area and seems to be Middle Palaeolithic
