Hidden Treasures is a national initiative to celebrate collections in UK museums and archives. Over August Bank holiday weekend 2013, over 70 museums and galleries nationwide will be offering a unique opportunity to see the collections not usually on public display, and find out how our nation’s heritage is cared for.

Over the course of 6 days – 22nd to 27th August – museums across the UK will put on special events, tours and talks, giving the public the chance to get to know their Hidden Treasures better. All events are free and, with the wide range on offer, will cater for every age group.
