A contribution to send us into the complex and heterogeneous world of Italian design, led by Giulio Castelli, one of the leading protagonists and exponents, who tells us about his work: “Our objective was all of a sudden clear: to recount sixty years of Italian design through the voice of its entrepreneurs. Always overlooked by the elastic meshes of criticism, the entrepreneurs of the sector have often been described as second in lead in the stories of objects while the designers – if I may be so bold – I think are talked about too much (...) Thus I thought about calling upon these entrepreneurs to speak who have contributed considerably to the success of these products that have made Italian industrial design famous. Over fifty conversations in which the answers and anecdotes told by these protagonists represent, in my opinion, a cutaway perhaps more eloquent than a critical-historical study of the sector.”
