Laid out as a spatial collage, «Tatiana Bilbao Estudio» showcases an architecture that is considerate of both people and natural resources.
For Tatiana Bilbao Estudio, questions of how people live together have a high priority in architecture and urban planning. The internationally acclaimed projects of the past two decades by this Mexican architecture studio respond sensitively to the local conditions of each situation. Building sustainably means approaching the environment with empathy and responsibility. The social aspects of architecture and the collaboration with different parties play a central part in the process. A multidisciplinary research team first ascertains a wide variety of needs so that these can be worked into the drafting process using collages and free-hand drawings. The exhibition is laid out as a spatial collage showcasing an architecture that is considerate of both people and natural resources.
