‘Zoom In’ is a stunning exhibition which takes a closer look at what makes the Volvo Ocean Race so special. From awesome aerial and panoramic views, to every drop of blood, sweat and tears shed on board, these images offer a different perspective on this nine-month emotional and physical rollercoaster - the world’s toughest ocean race.

 

It’s a celebration of the incredible talent, skill and sacrifice shown by not only the sailors, but the nine Onboard Reporters, and a team of 25 on-shore photographers, who work around the clock – and the planet – to perfectly capture these unforgettable shots.

 

The 12th edition of the Volvo Ocean Race started in Alicante on October 4 2014 and finished in June 2015 in Gothenburg, Sweden, the total distance sailed was 38,739 nautical miles. The next edition will start in Alicante in autumn 2017.
