Curious Beasts: Animal Prints from the British Museum

This exhibition explores our enduring curiosity about the animal world through the beautiful and bizarre imagery found in the rich print collections of the British Museum. The exhibition features works by artists including Albrecht Dürer, Francisco de Goya and George Stubbs and demonstrates the important role printmaking has played in our understanding of the natural world. This exhibition has been organised by Compton Verney in partnership with the British Museum. The exhibition is supported by the generosity of the Dorset Foundation.
