Romans and Reducing Recidivism: Can Archaeology Change Lives?

Dr. Caroline Pudney expores how archaeology can be socially beneficial. She will shoe how prison-based outreach projects can offer an innovative trajectory for public archaeology, and specifically the rehibilitation of offenders. Through successful partnerships between heritage and other specialists, and as part of wider programmes of support and intervention, she will demonstrate the potential for future, "translational" public archaeoloy.
