The Big Draw - Designs on your money

During the half-term week, as part of the nationwide Campaign for Drawing, the Museum invites its younger visitors to get creative by designing a banknote. Explore our Banknote Gallery for inspiration and discover the security and design features we use on our notes. What new features will you add to make your banknote more secure? Will you choose a famous character or a landmark? Will your note be printed on polymer (a thin and flexible type of plastic), like the new £5 and £10 note? Your imagination is the only limit! Enter your drawing into our competition, which has a prize for the best entry in the following age groups: up to 5 years old, 6 to 8 years, 9 to 11 years and 12 years and over. The winning designs will be displayed on our website.
