Afterlife: A Grayson Perry Workshop for Grown Ups

At The Learning Lab, The Beaney House of Art & Knowledge. Inspired by the demise of Grayson Perry’s Tim Rakewell character in the final Vanity of Small Differences tapestry and the creatures on display in The Beaney, this workshop will explore images of the afterlife. You will use your inspiration to create simple yet imaginative paper based silhouettes. At the end of the session these silhouettes will be arranged collectively to form a haunting and ghostly shadow puppetry display, illuminated by projected lighting. About the Small Differences: Workshops for grown-ups workshops: Join experienced artist Sara Wicks in these exciting workshops designed especially for adults!
