At The Learning Lab, The Beaney House of Art & Knowledge
Use Grayson Perry’s Vanity of Small Differences tapestries as the trigger for an investigation into ways of drawing.
In this workshop you will explore ideas of childhood using artefacts and paintings from The Beaney’s collection as inspiration. You will be encouraged to experiment with mark making and monochromatic media to create a range of drawings, from intricate observational work to large scale wet on wet ink illustrations.
This workshop will allow you to discover new and imaginative ways of interpreting objects and paintings, whilst learning a range of useful and fun drawing techniques for you to take home and continue creating.
