A guided tour of the museum’s exhibition 1914: When the World Changed Forever from an LGBTQ perspective. The tour will explore hidden stories of the First World War, focusing on the themes of homosexuality and masculinity explored in Pat Barker’s novel Regeneration and its sequels. Led by York Museums Trust’s volunteer co-ordinator and LGBTQ historian, Philip Newton.
