Virtual Tour (Bulgaria's first fully 3D virtual museum)

On 21th of May we celebrate The European Night of Museums. Exposition The Unification of Bulgaria of 1885 at Saedinenie Sq. № 1 will work with free entrance from 6:00 pm until 12:00 pm and will host our special initiative – demonstrations of Virtual Tour Software invented and created by Simeon Marlokov. The former pupil of Akademik Kiril Popov high school of mathematics and present student at Technical University developed a computer program which basically is a virtual copy of the building meant to be the Province Assembly of Eastern Rumelia. Today it is home to exposition The Unification of Bulgaria of 1885 and Virtual Tour Software enables every person to make an online first-person visit from any computer, laptop or smartphone from anywhere in the world. Simeon Marlokov has the desire to show our halls to those young people who do not find time to visit museums. He is also inspired by the fact that Plovdiv will be The European Capital of Culture in 2019 and Virtual Tour Software is a great way to popularize the cultural and historical heritage of our Municipality around the Globe.
