Feminism is Dead

As part of the People’s History Museum’s look at modern feminism this exhibition will examine the relevance of modern feminism in today’s society. The display will examine the different portrayals of what it means to be a feminist in modern society, including the idea that it is ‘man hating’. It will look at what it really means to be a feminist in 2016 and the issues that feminists are fighting for and against. It aims to disprove the idea that feminism is no longer necessary. This exhibition is part of Wonder Women 2016, Manchester’s annual feminist festival, running 3-13 March 2016.
