Volunteers from the Northern Mill Engine Society have rescued and restored 27 old stationary steam engines - some of the engines which once powered the cotton mills and woollen mills of the North of England. Our collection includes 5 engines built in Bolton, including one which is unique - the only engine of this particular type to survive anywhere in the world! Most of the engines will be running in steam on these 2 days. Free admission and free unlimited parking on the Supermarket car park.
