Swords and Shields at the ready!

It’s time to prepare for the Battle of Prestonpans! Using paintings, illustrations and the Battle of Prestonpans Tapestry as inspiration, children will decorate their own Jacobite sword and shield. Take them to the Battle of Prestonpans Re-enactment event the following weekend 19-21 September in Prestonpans and Bonnie Prince Charlie’s favoured shield will win a prize!
