A family event to mark the third year of the Woodlands and Riverbanks Project, celebrate the project’s success and give everyone involved an opportunity to promote their work.
Organisations providing displays will include the Durham Wildlife Trust, Natural England, the Woodland Trust and the Durham Bat Group.
A wide range of activities will be on offer throughout the day to entertain all the family, such as circus skills workshops, Sam’s Safaris with a selection of reptiles and small mammals, green woodworking demonstrations including willow weaving and pole lathe and art and craft activities to keep the children busy.
