Dockwatch

Take a closer look at the creatures in the waters of the Albert Dock with our team of museum experts supported by staff from the School of Natural Sciences and Psychology at Liverpool John Moores University. Using the Border Force underwater camera, which was originally used by customs officers to detect hidden contraband attached to the outside of ship's hulls, visitors can get a closer look at the creatures which inhabit the dock and gain an insight into its unique ecosystem. On the quayside you can also see jellyfish, prawns, crabs, mussels and other creatures in tanks.
