Description: Dark buff earthenware, thrown, coated with cream slip on the interior and exterior except for the base; the interior incised and touched with copper-green under very thin lead-glaze. Circular, with shallow carinated sides, and slightly sloping centre, standing on a footring. Decorated in the centre with an incised stylised bird with a large splodge of green over its front and a thinner green outline round its back and tail. Round the edge at irregular intervals there are green splodges, two of which have run downwards.
