Description: Reddish-buff earthenware, thrown, coated with cream slip on the interior and the upper part of the exterior, incised, and painted in copper-green under lead-glaze. Circular with deep sloping sides, and curved bottom, standing on a footring. Decorated inside with an incised five pointed figure with a double circle in the centre crossed by a line with a series of scallops above and below. Over this is painted a broad green four-pointed figure with 'VI' in the middle. Below the rim there is an incised band of continuous scallops between pairs of horizontal incised bands. There is a green band on the rim and a zig-zag band on the exterior.
