Wall Lights, 19th century

Part of a pair of five-light wall lights of gilt-bronze in the rococo style. The back plates are composed of interlacing leafy scrolls with a cluster of fruits at the base, the arms composed of swirling leafy scrolls supported circular leaf-cast drip pans, with decorative casting and chiselling on the undersides. Urn-shaped sconces cast with leafy motifs and panels of trellising and nozzles cast with irregular leafy edges. Probably 19th century in imitation of mid 18th century.
