Description: Cream-coloured earthenware (Queen's ware), printed in black and banded in blue, green and pink in onglaze enamels. Pear-shaped with loop handle and sparrow-beak spout, standing on a footring. Decorated on the side with an inscription, 'Oranges & Lemons/Say the bells of St Clements'. The 'O' in the form of a vignette showing a man and a girl picking fruit accompanied by a little girle, and the 'L in the shape of a church. The '&' is shown as a bell rope. Above and below there is a border of pendant bells banded in green.
