Basin, Cover and Stand

Part of a pair. The basin is bowl shaped, moulded with spiral flutes and a border below the rim simulating basketwork. The stands are a trembleuse and similarly moulded with spiral flutes, as are the covers, which are domed and surmounted by a knop in the form of a flower and foliage. Decorated apart from the simulated basket weave border, with irregularly shaped panels painted with bouquet of flowers and foliage and edged with gold scrollwork against a scaled blue ground.
