Oval portrait of a young man in a grey-white wig. He wears a white jabot, a white waistcoat (three buttons visible and one empty buttonhole) and a brown jacket. Background of clouds. Inscribed at right: A.P.1787. Within an oval locket the front framing part of which is of two gold ovals between which is an oval of hair: the back bears the monogram WPL against a background of plaited hair. Size: Height: 5.3 cm; Width: 4.2 cm.
