National Gallery of Ireland

Open 361 days of the year, the National Gallery of Ireland holds more than 15,000 works. Spend an afternoon or an hour visiting the highlights of the collection, and discovering the national collection.

It's not only admission that's free - you can also attend free lectures, tours and workshops, as well as borrow audioguides and drawing kits.

There's lots for all the family at the National Gallery - come along to free workshops, borrow family packs and children's audioguides, or join one of our holiday and mid-term courses for children and teenagers.

Join one of our free tours, come to a talk, enroll in one of our lecture series, symposiums or drawing courses, or simply borrow one of our free audio guides. There are lots of different and exciting ways to learn more about art.

Centrally located in the heart of Georgian Dublin, the National Gallery is an ideal meeting place. Have lunch or coffee in our large café on the ground floor, run by Itsa, browse in our award-winning bookshop, or join one of our free tours.
