Danish soldiers in other countries

This part of the permanent exhibit is concerned with the danish sodiers who went to serve in other parts of the world.
Many danish soldiers have served under the UN but before that some 2000 danish young men volouteered for the brittish army right after ww2. These soldiers got sent to all parts of the world as the brittish army was repressented all arround the globe and was a part of many violent conflicts. The danish boys served as brittish soldiers and many of them met a life, love, victories and even death in these faraway parts of the world. Their history is often forgotten, but here, thanks to their generous and personal gifts to the museum we tell their story.
The exhibit includes a large collection of capbadges and other memorabillia brought home by the soldiers.
