Glass ear stud in a pattern of a white flower on blue background with a red centre. 16mm in diameter. Gift from University of Wales Aberystwyth. The plug of this piece is missing. Ear studs became popular from the 18th Dynasty. At times the hole in the ear was so large so that the lope was a thin strip of skin. Complete earplugs can be seen in the jewellery case.
