Knucklebone, 1570-1630 (Ref:M.H46.1988.11.0)

The ankle bones (astragalus) from cloven hoofed animals have been used as playthings for thousands of years. Known colloquially as "knucklebones", they have been especially popular for playing the catching game of fivestones. There are four small and two large knucklebones in the Harborough Hoard.
