This shroud belonged to a lady called Tashay who lived during the Roman period (140-160 AD). They show a mixture of Greek, Roman and Egyptian styles. Tashay is shown in Greek dress, but the gods are typically Egyptian. Anubis presents Tashay to Osiris-Sokar. Behind him stands Nepthys. Nephthys is a protector of the dead.
