Wooden statue of hippopotamus headed man (probably Seth). The figure has no arms and is 13.3cm high. It was purchased by Wellcome in 1925. Statues in wood are uncommon and images of gods from the Third Intermediate Period are usually cast in metal. The way in which the human figure was depicted differs depending on the material used.
