Teapot of bullet shaped form with projecting conical spout and replacement metal handle in wickerwork and brass (probably an 18th century replacement). The cover is shallow domed surmounted by a pear shaped knop. Decorated with lobed panels, on either side, of a bird on a branch of prunus blossom, foliage and chrysanthemum flower heads. The panels are seen in reserve against a tobacco brown ground. The cover is similarly decorated. Size: Height: 11.5 cm; Diameter: 9.5 cm.
