Plate

Circular with shaped rim, slightly concave horizontal ledge and deep well. The whole is raised on an inverted truncated conical footrim. The rim is edged in blue enamel and the ledge is decorated with two detached sprays of flowers and two insects, positions equidistantly. One large bouquet of flowers is painted off-centre in the well. Purchased of the assistance of V&A Purchase Grant Fund. Size: Diameter: 24.9 cm.
