Cup of inverted bell shape and shallow saucer, both with slightly flaring rim. Decorated with chinoiserie garden scenes in gold, one large scene in the centre of the saucer and one each on opposite sides of the cup. Inside the rim of each is a band of scrolls painted below a solid gold scalloped band. Plain gold bands are also painted around the footrims.
