Musée national d'art moderne
The Musée National d'Art Moderne is the national museum for modern art of France. It is housed in the Centre Pompidou in the 4th arrondissement of Paris. Created in 1947, it was then housed in the Palais de Tokyo and moved to its current location in 1977.
More than 60,000 works constitute the largest collection in Europe of modern and contemporary art. It covers the XX and XXI centuries through artists which artworks had major influence in recent years.
