VIGAMUS is the first Video Game Museum in Italy, second in Europe and sixth all over the world. Located in the heart of Rome, VIGAMUS is devoted to preserve and divulge the history and evolution of video games trough thematic and temporary exhibitions, conferences, research projects, consumer and business events.
The Museum is dedicated to the history of video games and their creators, told through a selection of artifacts (hardware, games, unique pieces) illustrated by informative panels and through its direct experimentation. VIGAMUS mission is to preserve and divulge digital culture artifacts, informing the general public about the artistic and historical value of the interactive medium.
