Discover Children's Story Centre, London's only children's museum is a place where children and their families can enjoy playing learning and making up stories together.

Visit our indoor trail and let your imagination soar. Explore a secret cave, make a spoon puppet, have a tea party, find the giant's legs, slide down a magic tower, dance on noisy polka dots and dress up in a weird and wonderful costume.

Have an outdoor adventure and slide down a monster's tongue, climb on a space craft, sail away in a pirate ship, enjoy a story in the story glade and play with giant musical instruments.

Discover Children’s Story Centre is the UK’s first hands-on creative literacy centre for children aged 0-11 years and their families, carers and teachers.

Discover’s overarching mission is to spark children and adults’ imagination, curiosity and creativity in a magical and stimulating environment. We offer a variety of programmes including schools workshops, family art activities, a literature programme led by children’s writers and illustrators, community and education projects, artist residencies in schools and training for professionals that work with children and families. In The Studio we commission artists to create multisensory installations and exhibitions. Each year over 60,000 people benefit from our programmes.

Discover is a registered charity, all proceeds go directly into delivering high quality innovative work for children and families in east London.
