Orleans House Gallery

Stroll along a peaceful riverside road into secluded woodland gardens, to find a stunning 18th century interior design - and the principal art gallery for the borough of Richmond upon Thames.

Orleans House has a rich and vibrant history, from the baroque Grade I listed Octagon room, which was designed by renowned architect James Gibbs, to a main gallery which hosts a range each year - from the historical to the contemporary.

The Stables Gallery, is housed in evocative 19th century stables buildings and has a variety of contemporary and community exhibitions throughout the year.

We have activities and events each months, including our free Heritage Tours - allowing you to learn more about our 300 year history.

Finish off with a coffee at our Orleans House Café (Tuesdays to Sundays) in the Stables at the rear of the Gallery.
