The Elham Valley Line Trust The Countryside Centre is a great place to visit, with country crafts, welcoming tea rooms and wonderful fresh produce for sale. The Railway Museum was created in the 1980s, to capture the history of the Elham Valley Railway Line which ran through the picturesque Elham Valley between Canterbury and Folkestone, from 1884 to 1947. Open weekends and Bank Holidays from April to September, we welcome everyone! Entry to the Barn and tea rooms is free of charge. Museum entry prices are: Adult £2-50, Concession £1-50, Child (Under 16) £1-50, Annual Family Membership £15-00 Annual Family Membership Unrestricted entry for 2 Adults and any number of children under 16 during normal opening hours, throughout the season - Membership card must be produced for free entry Please complete a form during your visit or write to, or email, the Membership Officer, C/O West Lodge, Peene, Folkestone, Kent CT18 8BA with your name, address, telephone number and email address with your payment. An annual standing order can be set up if preferred. Members receive a regular newsletter to keep them updated with events, so you can support the Trust by becoming a member even if you can’t visit.
