MAXXI Arte/collection. The vanishing boundary

The vanishing boundary represents the second review of the MAXXI permanent collection. In particular, a selection of works will be exhibited that represent Italian Neo-Expressionist research and the other figurative trends from 1980 to the present, with pieces by Francesco Clemente, Enzo Cucchi, Lara Favaretto, Mimmo Paladino, Francesco Vezzoli and others.

The exhibition is inspired by the recent publication devoted to Italian contemporary art, Il confine evanescente. Arte italiana 1960-2010, edited by Gabriele Guercio and Anna Mattirolo (Electa, 2010).
