Annja Krautgasser

The Tyrolean media artist born in 1971 in Hall, studied architecture and digital media at the University of applied arts in Vienna in Tyrol and Vienna. In June 2010, she received the RLB Art Prize, worth 10,000 euros for her 2009 work "Le Madison". The jury explained its choice due to the artistic development of Krautgasser, who on the one hand focused on the cinema, dance, and the body and on the other hand deals with the means of social intervention. In 2011 the RLB art Prize winner developed an exhibition specially for the Studio of the Ferdinandeum.
