This exbition is meant to reveal less known things about the baroness Sophia von Brukenthal (1725-1782). Thematically, it develops on several segments: Sophia`s family; cultural and social information comprised in her unique portrait, painted around 1766; two age-regressions realized after her portrait; archive researches; von Brukenthals` cultural heritage.
The opening of the exhibition in outdoor space facilitates the access to culture for large target groups; it also gives the possibility to visitors to take selfies, to post them on the Musem`s official facebook page and, thus, to become DigiArt creators.
The event is marking the reintegration as part of the permanent exhibition of the impressive polyptych altar from Proştea Mare / Târnava (Sibiu County), dated 1480-1510. This is the first time...
