Paintings Exhibition
by Velislava Nekezova, Mina Deneva and Nikola Vladikov

 An exhibition of paintings by three authors will be opened on July 1^st in 19:00 at Regional Ethnographic Museum – Plovdiv. The topic that gathers the authors is “The City”, namely Plovdiv. The authors that will present their works at the exhibition are: Velislava Nekezova, Mina Deneva and Nikola Vladikov. All of them have artistic education.

Some words by the authors:

““The City” is the topic that provoked us to rethink it and express our perceptions by the means of painting. We have tried to show the unique, unrepeatable in Plovdiv with some of its most typical manifestations. The City – seen not just as architecture, but as architecture that is a “document” for the lives of the citizens of Pulpudeva, Philipopol, Trimontium, Puldin, Filibe, Plovdiv… And this “documental” historical architecture (at least in the heart of the City – the Old Town) is the context of contemporary Plovdiv residents. This context and the impressions it left on us three inspired us. It became the major cause for this exhibition. You are welcome!”
