Art and Life: 1920-1931

This exhibition explores the partnership between Ben Nicholson and Winifred Nicholson – two of the UK's most important 20th Century artists. Inspired by each other, the Nicholson’s experimented furiously and often painted the same subject; one as a colourist the other more interested in form. It also looks at their relationship and collaboration with Christopher Wood, Alfred Wallis and the potter, William Staite Murray
