New For You: Arts and Crafts Furniture

Followers of the Arts and Crafts movement believed that the quality of manufactured goods could be improved only by a return to the values of pre-industrial craftsmanship. Arts and Crafts furniture designers strove for simple, solid construction embellished with clear and appropriate decoration. The fine pieces on display are destined for our new Art and Design galleries, opening in 2016.
